So easy on the shoulders September 29, 2008 I love this backpack. I used to have a different Jansport backpack without the airlift straps, but what a difference these straps make. I can carry heavier loads for longer periods of time, and my shoulders don't ache. This backpack is large enough for me to fill with my laptop, some school books, and all the necessities for a weekend away, but it doesn't feel huge and bulky when I'm only carrying a small load. The mp3 pocket is really great for being safe from weather and people grabbing it, but I don't use it because I like to have my player accessible to skip songs. I also like the small organizational pocket to make sure my small items are easy to find. I couldn't ask for anything more (except maybe a bungee cord).
Great backpack February 11, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This backpack isn't very large, but it keeps the weight close to your back (including a laptop). I can put like 3 binders, 2 textbooks, and a 15.4 dell laptop in it. I had a Columbia sciencepak before and this puts much less strain on my back.

This rucksack was selected by my 14 year old friend. She is a very thorough researcher when it comes to choosing items for specific uses. In this case it was for her school books and supplies. Considering the daily use of carrying a rather hefty load (up to 35 lbs.) this bag is well suited for the job.
Not as described March 3, 2006 11 out of 15 found this review helpful
I just bought this bag from amazon. I am very unhappy with it. The bag had airlift 1.1 instead of 2.1. The product description with the bag says it can hold laptop upto 14.1 inch. But the product description on this page says 15.1. I checked it with my 15.1 inch laptop. It does not fit. I am planning to return this item. I wonder they supplied incorrect product information.
Great Student Computer/Bookbag!! February 8, 2006 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
1. The Airlift system really works like a charm. The weight is distributed equally so that even when you have a full bag you won't feel crushed. 2. The material of the bag and the compartments it have makes the bag quite water proof (tested with the Northwest weather... need I say more?) 3. The compartment for the CD/iPod/Cell phone/Key Holder is perfectly located and easy to reach; there is also a jack for the headphone wire. 4. There is a computer compartment with some moderate amount of soft padding. 5. The capacity this backpack holds is good for school, but not much for traveling.
This backpack is good for students who carry books as well as computers and who might need to walk a lot.
Highly recommended!!!
