The small collar is for dog's with a 13-15 inch measurement around the base of the neck; the medium collar is for 16-19 inch measurements around the base of the neck; and the large collar is for dog's with 20-23 inch measurements around the base of the neck. I recently purchased The Illusion Collar by Cesar Millan. The Illusion Collar and Leash Set By Cesar Millan: BLACK and MEDIUM Size
What a difference this collar makes when walking my 83lb Standard Poodle. I have tried every piece of equipment from harnesses to head collars and in the Illusion Collar I've finally found something that really works, and it even comes with a leash. Excellent price point IMHO.
I purchased a size med as suggest for my specific breed. I do wish that I had sized up to a large as the top collar doesn't quite have the adjustment that I would like. I will say that my poodle is on the heavy side. Walking is now an enjoyable experience for me as well as my poodle, Miss Diva. I'm delighted that I found The Illusion Collar on Amazon. com
