 perfect preschool lunch box January 4, 2009
I've had a couple of these over the past 3 years and I use them to pack my son's lunch for day care. The containers are nicely sized for toddler and preschooler portions and I like how cheerful and neat it looks. We don't use the spoon much either (they use disposable spoons at day care anyway), and it is a little oddly shaped, but it works OK. We've lost a few of the little containers over the years but the big containers still work fine for things like cheese, crackers and carrot sticks, or half a sandwich on one side and apple slices on the other.

I LOVE this product! I actually bought two since we're always using it and I can pack lunch and dinner for my daughter without problem. The individual containers are great for storing snacks on their own or for use together for a meal. Regardless, it is the perfect size for my one year old. This was also the only food storage container that we found that did not leak, which is a huge deal. We haven't used the spoon it comes with as it is a little too wide for my daughter, but there is enough space between the individual containers and larger lid to fit a baby spoon, too.
The only problem I've had with this product is that one of the yellow containers stained when I left carrots in it overnight.

I love the concept of this product, unfortunately the containers are not water tight, so everything leaks out. It can be horribly messy and smelly.

We take this on trips to pour homemade food into for feeding, rather tahn dip into larger container and contaminate the whole batch.
Lids have stayed on snugly on our set. Wash in dishwasher using a top rack basket. BPA free according to the manufacturer.

It has the oddest flat little spoon. We never use it. But the rest of this is PERFECT and we use it for on the go meals (when we don't think that we will be eating somewhere healthy enough for our 11 month old) or when they go to grandma's house and stay overnight. Perfect. It fits right inside our LLBean lunchbag and stays nice and cool. The separate containers allow me to heat up what needs to be heated and keep things like fruit cold. Great product. I have NO PROBLEMS with the lids staying on or getting them on and off. I also have no leaking issues. These work great and I get tons of compliments!
