Product Description Evenflo Expressions Plus High Chair The Expressions Plus High Chair from Evenflo is one of the most reliable high chairs around. It has a lot of reliable features and Evenflo's classic 3 Lil' Bears fabric pattern. It combines maximum comfort for baby and is extremely easy to use. This Evenflo high chair can accommodate a child up to 3 years and 40 lbs. Two of the numerous standout features are the 7 height adjustments and the 3 comfortable recline positions. It can be very difficult to get baby to eat food at dinner or lunch time, but if they're comfortable it may make the battle less uphill. The height adjustments on the Evenflo Expressions Plus High Chair makes it easy to pull up to any table. The height adjustments also accommodate a growing child. The recline positions help make the baby comfortable and makes feeding time much easier. It is one of the easiest folding high chairs on the market and stores compactly when not in use.
Amazon.com Product Reviews
Perhaps one day feeding time will be clean and hassle-free, but the generations of messy kids suggest this will be a battle for ages to come. However, Evenflo--makers of high-quality baby care products for over 85 years--have done their best to ameliorate some of the bother with the Expressions Plus high chair. The Evenflo Expressions Plus high chair is designed to be easy to use and easy to clean.
| A plethora of features will have parents buzzing about the versatility and practicality of the Expressions Plus. From bottom up: caster wheels allow the high chair to move smoothly and maneuver around the dining table and kitchen. The wheels are lockable for stationary feeding. The vinylized cloth seat is padded for additional comfort, and spills simply wipe up with the use of warm water and soap. The three-point harness will keep baby secured during feeding. The seat has three reclining positions that make feeding infants all the more possible, and the high chair has seven height adjustments to grow with your baby. The Expressions Plus has seven height adjustments and three recline positions.
| The feeding tray has a few tricks up its sleeve, as well. It has an easy, one-handed release-slash-adjust, and it hides a little parent organizer that slides away. The organizer is great for keeping utensils and jars of food handy. The tray insert is extremely easy to clean; simply pop it out and throw it in the dishwasher. The Expressions Plus also has a handy towel bar to hang bibs and washcloths--another one of those small details you find yourself using more often than not. When it comes time to put away the high chair, the Expressions Plus folds compact and includes a tray stow on the back of the chair. The high chair requires some assembly out of the box, but the instructions are clear and concise, and total build time should not take over an hour (considerably less if you have had practice putting products together). The durable and easy-to-use Evenflo Expressions Plus high chair packs a ton of features you would expect in a premium high chair at a fraction of the cost. Parents rave about the value of this particular high chair, and it is easy to see why. The manufacturer recommended age is birth to three years, and the maximum weight is 40 pounds. --Scott Teal

For the price I can't complain January 1, 2009 I've owned this product for about 10 months. For the price it works well but there are a few irritating quirks to deal with.
Pros: Easy to clean the seat. It has elastic that holds the cover in place so you can just pull it off and throw it in the washer. Easy to clean the main tray. Also, you can pull off the insert tray and throw it in the dishwasher, and still get by using the main tray until the other one is clean. The collapsible feature works well, we use it when traveling to the in-laws since they don't have a highchair. Fabric holds up well. We've washed it multiple times are there are still no rips, tears, or worn spots. Height adjustment works well. We raise and lower the seat level depending on where we are. It goes so low we've fed her sitting on the couch before. I like the safety post that comes up between her legs. When I remove the tray, she can't get over it to fall out, and it keeps her from slouching down under the tray while she's eating.
Cons: The wheel locks are irritating because sometimes they are supposed to be disengaged and the wheel will still stick. We move this chair out of the way when not in use. The wheels do not turn easily so sometimes you're dragging it across the floor instead of pulling it. It will stop at any bump in the road, so don't expect an easy transition between carpets, rugs, linoleum, etc. The locking mechanism on the tray isn't the best. We've never had a time where it wouldn't lock, but we constantly have to push and wiggle it to get it to work. Where the insert tray locks into the main tray is hard to clean. It has a lip it fits under and our messy toddler gets food under there all the time. She ripped the attached toy loose when she was 6 months old. Now she likes to drop food down the hole it clipped into to watch it disappear.
Like I said, for the cost, the issues aren't too bad. Are there better high chairs? Yes, but I think this one will work fine for someone on a budget.
Tray does not latch in place December 12, 2008 I wish I had a dollar for each time I had to clean a mess off the floor because the tray ejected due to poorly designed latching mechanism. The tray does not latch into place well and easily can be ejected by the baby getting in and out.
Otherwise it is good.
Easy to Clean, Very Adjustable October 16, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We love this high chair! We purchased it about nine months ago (in a different pattern) and have had no problems with it.
One great thing about it is that it is SO adjustable - there are about seven different height settings, including very low to the ground or high enough to be above the average table height.
It is SO easy to clean, the fabric just wipes right off. The pull-out "parent organizer tray" is handy to keep baby food on as you are feeding, but is a little small for some bowls and things (if that matters to you).
It folds up super easily and is great quality for the price.
Evenflo Expressions Plus High Chair October 9, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I just love this chair. I loved the price and everything it can do. I like the fact that it has fold in legs, so we can take it on trips, or to my husbands parents house for get togethers. It's easy to clean. My favorite thing about it is, that you can ajust the hight, so I can feed her while still sitting. I think it is a great high chair not like the one I had 8 years ago that did nothing. So I give it 5 *****'s Thank's Evenflo!
Evenflo Expressions Safari print highchair is great! September 5, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I debated on which highchair to purchase reading several reviews on Fisher Price Rainforest and Graco, thinking that the more money I spend the better highchair I would get...wrong! This highchair was recently on sale at KMart and I decided that for the price I couldn't go wrong. It beats my previous Graco hands down! I love the removeable tray to allow for easy cleanup. The seat pad is fabric and I can easily wipe it off and also it is machine washable. The seat reclines with a one-hand release -- I wish I would have had this when she was a young baby. I can't find anything to complain about. It was very easy to put together -- I put it together in 40 minutes with the "help" from my 7 y/o son. I compared the Expression to the Expression Plus and I couldn't find anything that would entail a $10 price difference -- in fact the pink Expression Plus had a non-machine washable seat pad. Go for the Expression Safari -- you can't go wrong!
