I was just recently in a car accident with my daughter (6 mos. old) and she was in this car seat. I am looking to replace it now due to the accident. But it kept my daughter very safe and the seat stayed in it's base. I know the car seat itself is bulky but I would recommend it for safety purposes. Besides, my daughter loves this car seat verses the one I'm borrowing from her Papa.
