Overall the book was great. It started out as a slow read but quickly pick up as the book continued. I will continue to read the series.

I love the entire series and can't wait for more. I've become a huge Francis Ray fan as a result of this books. I like romance novels anyway and it is especially refreshing to have African-American characters.

Dr. Catherine Stewart is a well renowned psychologist and author of several children's stories. She comes from a very influential family, but that is not enough to keep her from being stalked. When she is invited to go to New Mexico to speak, Catherine jumps at the chance to stay at a friend's cabin where she can just relax and have some "me" time. She never expected company. Like Grayson, an ex-FBI agent with his own investigation company, is part Native American, part African American, and all gorgeous male. When he decides to go up to the cabin he owns with his cousin to get away from his match-making mother, he never imagined there would be anyone there...especially a gorgeous someone pointing a gun at him.
Until There Was You is a wonderful love story. It has all the elements of a traditional romance with the added bonus of suspense. Mrs. Ray does an excellent job of weaving the two together. The family aspect is also a very integral part of the story. Until There Was You is a re-release that links the Taggart & Falcon families with the Grayson's. All of these families are the epitome of what a close knit family is like. Until There Was You is a wonderful introduction to the Grayson series and to Mrs. Ray's writing if you have not had the pleasure of reading any of her works.

This was a great read for me.. especially since I had read the entire series, except for this one. Glad to have the whole series, I wasn't disappointed.
