on the real, it did sort of bother me that ashley & jaquavis was actually in the book but if you actually read there books you should have noticed that they almost always make some sort of reference to themselves in there books.
with that said. you have got to be kidding me this was on of there best books. no i stil dont think anything that they wrote has topped "diary of a street diva" and "dirty money" (street fiction classics)but this book is true craziness.
kalil, well to me he's the best type of man, he did his dirt and was on top, but was willing to give everything up for his daugther! you can't tell him nothing. he hold his own and stays true to his self. his whole plot is all i needed to be enthralled into this.
with that said, i didnt see the point in London, or in calling the book "trophy wife" the only reason she was there was so hova could somehow develop beef with khalil. she, to me seemed a little insignificant. they should have made her part bigger or at least not put her on like she was a major part of this.
in the end it was still a great read but left some questions unanswered which i why they got a four out of five stars from me.
p.s. the end of the book had a snipet from the cartel! banging! i already have my favorite character in that and they only gave us the first chapter! rip carter! L.O.L.

This was the first book, Ive read by the authors and now I am purchasing more books by them, This was a great book to read it kept me reading until the end!!! Go Get It trust me you wont be disappointed!!!

The "Trophy Wife" is another banger from Ashley and Jaquavis. Kalil is a young man fresh out of jail and he is on a mission to do the right thing. The right thing means taking care of his little girl Jada and working an honest 9-5 job for some shady Italians. Kalil is used to hustling and balling out of control with unlimited cash, but to stay out of jail for his daughter he will do the right thing...for a little while at least.
When Kalil meets the lovely London, Jada's dance teacher, he is immediately drawn to this beautiful woman. Kalil soon learns that London's husband is abusing her and she has the bruises to prove it. Kalil and London fall in love, and London knows she is playing with fire. London wants to feel real love and not like someone's property or punching bag. London and Kalil begin an affair and this sets off a chain of events that will change there lives forever!!!

I LOVE ASHLEY&JAQUAVIS books!! i've read every book!this one was one of my favorites, but you all definantely need to read DIRTY MONEY and the sequel SUPREME CLIENTELE! those 2 are AMAZING....i promise u!
