Cord/No cord. Battery issue January 9, 2008 Logitech rechargeable keyboards (I have diNovo edge) require factory replacement of failed batteries (count on every six months). Those with replaceable batteries must have new batteries about every six months. I plan to get this one as a back-up but the zoom feature may make it a keeper. The dinovo edge coupled to my 36" LCD seemed unbeatable but the onboard mouse after customization was still a little akward at times. My Logitech MX-Laser mouse has a fairly short range (8 feet)but is a pleasure to use and will hopefully make this a winning combination. Logitech has great stuff but choose carefully.
One of the best keyboards I've ever owned November 25, 2007 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I just go this keyboard about a week ago. It arrived two days earlier than expected and I have to say it has been one of the most comfortable and best keyboards I have owned. Fairly durable except the little plastic attachment on the front doesn't feel like it would take one drop and might break. I have gone through many keyboards(15+). Very easy to install, nice looking, and comfortable not much more you can ask out of a keyboard. I use it on my gaming rig right now and works great with all my games Call of Duty 1,2,4/World of Warcraft and many others. I like that it isn't wireless I do not like the wireless stuff I don't believe it is reliable as wired. I have had many wireless mice and keyboards and I just don't like them.
Best keyboard feel!!!! October 24, 2007 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This has to be the best feel in a keyboard that I have ever owned. The keys just glide when pressed. I bought a couple extra just in case something ever happens to the one that I have. Plus the little extra buttons are nice. Especially the volume and mute buttons. No more mouse hunting for them! It's a bit bigger than a normal keyboard cause of the extra buttons, but doesn't take up that much more room.
It was great for a while October 4, 2007 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Yeah - this keyboard's got all the buttons I need for the multimedia center I've made my PC into. And, yeah, the layout of the Home/End/PageUp/PageDown keys did take some getting used to. Unfortunately, I wish I'd saved the receipt for it. I'd had it for just over 5 months and about a quarter of the keys had the letters all but rubbed off. That isn't easy to deal with when you're only a semi-touch typist. I also have several keys that are starting to stick.
When I finally got someone at Logitech who speaks a fair amount of English to take my complaint (which was also backed up by an email with a picture of worn keys attached), he said I could get a replacement if I had a receipt. I don't, so I can't.
I'm disappointed in Logitech. I'd used their mice for years, until they started bundling have-to-install software with their drivers. Now, with quality/workmanship issues, my money's going elsewhere with input devices. Wish me luck - we all know they don't make things like they used to but geez... I'd hoped to get at least a year or two from this one.
I love the zoom feature August 19, 2007 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought my keyboard in May 07. I am using Windows XP and I have not had any problems with it at all so far.
I really love the zoom feature and if you are in the over 40 crowd you will too.
Someone complained that there is no insert key. There is an insert key its above the home key. Granted is not part of the group of normal keys but I like it being out of the way so I don't hit it by accident.
I will say that I wish the delete key was smaller as it is large enough I find myself hitting it on accident and that is why I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5.
I have also read people complaining that the keyboard is cramped or small. I have not noticed that and I find it comfortable to type on.
I'd buy it again for the zoom feature alone.
