5 out of 5 stars Great keyboard!   November 22, 2008
I love the key action, and the slim profile. It saves wear on my laptop keyboard. This was a good purchase.

4 out of 5 stars Nice Slim Keyboard   November 22, 2008
If you are looking for the feel of a laptop while typing at your desktop, then this keyboard will suffice. I've enjoyed using it for the past year or so.

I prefer a lighter touch, but I think most people would find this keyboard a lot more enjoyable than the standard PC keyboards which basically require you to pound each freakin' character.

I unfortunately blew mine to smithereens with static shock yesterday. Never had that happen before, but it is definitely toasted.

5 out of 5 stars Excellent Keyboard.   November 10, 2008
If you're looking for a keyboard that's like a laptop, this keyboard would be great for you.

Even though some key placement is weird, I'm not having any problems with it. This is still a good keyboard for gaming if you're used to gaming on a laptop, and the odd place for the insert key actually is good for some games, and even going further on gaming, this keyboard registers many keys at once.

My keyboard still works and looks just as good since the day I bought it. I didn't need a usb extension cord since the cord was plenty long enough. So far I don't see any wear on the chrome looking trim around the keyboard, but I don't rest my hands on it. Fingerprints do show well on it though, but it comes off easily with any cloth.

This keyboard is perfect for me, there's not one thing wrong with it in my opinion.

3 out of 5 stars NOT for anyone with large hands   October 31, 2008
I've used this for months. Great feel and in many ways I love it and very much appreciate the compact size...I have 4 computers and I'm drowning in keyboards. It's because it's so good in so many ways that I'm frustrated by a pair of fatal flaws. 1) The "caps lock" key does not have a right side depression like on every Microsoft, Logitech or full-size Apple keyboard I've ever owned. I have large male hands and I'm can rarely type more than a few lines without hitting the caps lock when going for the "A" key. 2) Same on the other side -- I find that I'm always snagging the "home" key when backspacing. The keys are fairly short-travel, so it only takes a very light touch to activate a switch. I can excuse the home key problem because of the compact design, but not the cap locks problem. This is not bad engineering, just dumb, thoughtless design, probably to save a tenth of a cent. If you have petite paws, I'd say go for it! But I'm planning to replace mine.

5 out of 5 stars Closest Feel to a Laptop Computer You Can Find   October 20, 2008
This keyboard generally has the typing feel of my new HP laptop computer which I consider to be the gold standard. However, the keys are considerably more difficult to press than the HP computer. If you do a lot of typing every day, your fingers may experience fatigue. If you just do intermittent typing, you won't be disappointed. For a compact keyboard, the layout is quite good. The arrow keys and page up and down keys are located in a good and sensible location. Both shift keys are full sized along with the enter key and backspace key. Along the top of the keyboard, there are useful keys for volume up/down and mute. One button is an on-screen calculator which is very useful. There are play, pause and fast forward and rewind buttons. And I just tested the sleep button during this message and my computer recovered quite nicely without crashing. Overall, this is a extremely good keyboard value that I highly recommend.
