Bob the Butler December 20, 2007 I ordered this movie for Thanksgivings because I was having dinner at my home. I had water damage the day before Thanksgiving and the plumber could not come out until the Saturday after the holiday. I was so depressed so I watched the movie while a friend was trying to fix the problem. I laughed until I cried. I packed all the uncooked food and travelled to my sister home and prepared Thanksgiving dinner. I took the movie and they asked could the keep the movie until Saturday. My family enjoyed watching this movie on Thanksgiving Day. When you are sad and need a good laugh. Definitely put on this movie. Excellent family movie.
Very entertaining movie August 2, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I frequently watch the movies that are broadcast on the Disney Channel with my two younger daughters and my grandson. Every time they show "Bob the Butler" I try to make sure I'm done with my housework so that I can enjoy it with them. It is a very entertaining movie and my young ones enjoy it very much. That is why I decided to buy it so we could watch it whenever we wanted to. This DVD will definitely get a lot of viewing at our house!

When my daughter picked this flick up for cheap, I didn't know what to expect. And then, when I arrived home to find Tom Green starred in the film...yikes, I thought it would be bad.
But it wasn't.
Bob the Butler is a funny, family film with a happy ending. We enjoyed it. Check it out.

Some real funny scenes but the end is as expected no big surprise.
Am I missing something here?! August 2, 2006 2 out of 6 found this review helpful
I rented this movie and thought it was just awful. Then I come on line and see that some people actually liked it. To me the movie was very boring and a rip off of many other movies out there. Tom Green does alright but a bad movie is a bad movie. And Brooke Shields as always lights up the screen with her pretty face. However, even though she tries really hard to be a good actress, she simply is not talented, and it shows throughout the movie. I've always liked Brooke Shields because she's beautiful and intelligent, but after watching this movie, I think that her efforts to be taken as a serious actress are now getting pitiful. No wonder this movie didn't make it into the theatres!
