Product Description Includes: earbud headphones, USB cable, dock adapter, & iTunes for Mac and Windows. Apple 2GB iPod nano - Come one, come all and witness the incredible shrinking iPod!! With the nano, Apple introduces the latest member of the highly successful iPod family of digital audio players. The nano is aptly named since it's a fraction of the size of it's larger iPod cousins. It has the width of a pencil and comes in at a feather-light 1.5 ounces. For Apple's next trick, they've taken this new diminutive iPod and added all of the features of a regular iPod. You get a bright full color display, Apple's famous click wheel, and up to 14 hours of battery life. With that said, take a peek behind the curtain and be amazed at the rest of what the iPod nano has to offer... Connector for optional dock Stereo Minijack Hold Switch Charge Time - about 3 hours (1.5 hour fast charge to 80% capacity) Audio Support - AAC (16 to 320 Kbps) / Protected AAC (from iTunes Music Store) / MP3 (16 to 320 Kbps) / MP3 VBR / Audible (formats 2, 3, & 4) / Apple Lossless / WAV / AIFF Photo Support - JPEG / BMP / GIF / TIFF / PSD (Mac only) / PNG Sync & Charge via USB Cable Adjust audiobook playback speed Create multiple on-the-go playlists Shuffle songs or albums Repeat one or all 20 Equalizer settings Backlight Timer Display Contrast Alarm - On / Off / Silent Sleep Timer Date & Time Display time in menu bar Color - Black Supports - Windows 2000 with Service Pack 4 or later, Windows XP Home or Professional with Service Pack 2 or later, Mac OS X v10.3.4 or later Unit Dimensions - 3.5 x 1.6 x 0.27 Unit Weight - 1.5 ounces

Great small-memory, lightweight iPod... December 4, 2008 I have had my iPod nano (Silver 2nd generation) for 2 years now, and it's still ticking right along. I use my iPod mainly for listening to music while exercising (running - on a treadmill during crummy weather and outdoors when it's nice). I've been using it lately to listen to an audio-book, and it does that well, too.
This iPod has got to be the perfect exercise-partner. I holds plenty of music for even long, long runs or bike rides. Of course 2GB isn't the 80GB or 120GB you can get in other iPod models, and I've never tried using for video, but this iPod is lightweight and rides nicely on my arm in an iPod holder. It's is easy to use, and is an all around joy to have around.
Oh sure it will occasionally lock up, what piece of hardware doesn't(?), but it is easy to reset and it resumes its normal functioning right away.
On another note, my daughter has the same kind of iPod as mine, but she's had hers a little longer. I need to tell you that her iPod has lost sound generation to one of the earbuds - it's not an earbud problem, it's an iPod problem (we tested it with multiple ear phones). So these are not likely to last forever - what does? Thus it loses one star.
At any rate, I've had a 5-star experience with my iPod.
You should be advised, however, that the earbuds are not at all likely to last as long as the iPod itself. I'm now on my 2nd pair of earbuds.
For the positive reasons listed above, this model is worth a solid 4-stars.
Thanks Apple!

Want the latest ipod? Here's how to get it for five bucks
Christmas is coming so save your cash! Why purchase something you can get for five bucks.
Go to gifts4xmas.co.cc and sign up. Complete ONE offer - I would recommend Netflix
All companies are well known so there is no risk involved- give it a go! I got my Ipod and many other things this way, so don't miss out.
I was a sceptic once but now I am SO glad I gave it a chance.
Many items to choose from; ipod Shuffle, Nano, Touch, Classic or even an Iphone.
They send your gift Free of charge
Enjoy!
Freezes constanly... November 7, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I should have read the reviews for this before I bought it. I purchased it new. It CONSTANTLY freezes up. I only download and listen to audio books on my ipod. The first book download worked perfectly. Not anymore!!!
It has such a hard time when it's time to download!!! It's a pain. I have to constantly reset it (you do this by pushing the menu and the middle circle at the same time, for about 10 seconds) Even after resetting it, it still doesn't work.
I'm getting rid of it and buying one of the cheapos. At least if that "breaks" I'm only out $20-$30, not $100. This is trash. Save your money.
