Both the orange flower water nd rose water are made near Grasse, the capital of French perfumes and scents. Chocolate mousse, crpes, gteau Breton, madeleines, the celebrated bugnes lyonnaises, ices, creams and more, call for Rose flower water. Rose water, a staple ingredient of Middle Eastern pastries, is less common in French recipes, although it is used in sorbets and fruit compotes

I love ALL THINGS FRENCH but I must say, I was not fond of this Rose water. Perhaps, I am simply use to the Rose water from Lebanon which is absolutely delicious. Monteux tasted very different. It comes in a small plastic bottle, not glass and seems to be a watered down version of what I am use to.
My overall review is that I prefer the rose water imported from Lebanon. It is much more aromatic and tasty.

This is great to put in a mister with purified water and mist on your face.

I was very pleased when I got the Rose water.I have used it twice and I can not tell you how my apple pie tasted, it was geat. Thanks Carolyn White
